In the summer of 2015, she was an intern for the Newborn Medicine Summer Research Program at Boston Children’s Hospital researching at the Neonatal Newborn department. She is particularly interested in the effect of development of the cerebral cortex in neonatal brains and its malformations. On campus, Stephanie is a part of the Advocates for North Korean Human Rights (ANKHR) and Global Medical Brigade (GMB) student organizations. After graduation, she hopes to pursue an MD-MPH where she can focus on finding long-term solutions for reducing health care disparities for preventable diseases in developing countries.
