She does research in the Psychology Department and South Asia Studies Department. In the summer of 2024, she conducted mental health studies at the Deshpande Foundation in India. Shreeya is a graduate and fellow of Dexterity Global’s leadership and scholar development programs. At Wellesley, she also interns at the Wellesley Centers for Women, serves as an Admission Student Ambassador and Resident Assistant in Shafer Hall. She studied abroad in Berlin to learn German, her fifth language, and is also leading an interdepartmental project to build more tree swings on campus. Since being cross-registered at MIT in Spring 2023, Shreeya has presented at a Virtual Reality exhibition in the MIT Museum and now serves on the teaching team of a VR class at MIT. Upon graduation Shreeya’s path will lie on the intersection of service and academia.
