This past summer, she interned at Wolver Hill Asset Management where she went through an iterative development process to redesign and implement the Wolver Hill landing page. Additionally, she conducted research on hedge funds, business structuring, and market opportunity assessments in collaboration with the team in Tokyo. In past summers, Shirui has also worked as an instructor assistant at Kode with Klossy, a program that introduces young women and non-binary people to programming. There, she ensured scholar understanding of and proficiency in mobile app development by leading remediation lessons. On campus, she serves on the executive board for the Wellesley Nordic Ski Team. Shirui’s after Wellesley plan is to work at a mission focused company with an engineering or design focused role.
