Sarah Garcia
Sarah is a senior majoring in International Relations with a concentration in Political Science and is minoring in Global Portuguese Studies.

Her interests include international security, nuclear disarmament, international finance , and the Portuguese-speaking world. Her current project involves researching Lusotropicalism in Portugal and Brazil, focusing on hierarchical systems formed in the aftermath of Portuguese colonialism. Sarah loves learning languages and can speak Spanish, English, Mandarin, and Portuguese, and hopes to learn Arabic in the near future. Sarah is part of the Rugby team on campus. Her post-graduation plans include interning in Portugal next summer and later pursuing a Master's degree in International Security.
