Ninotska Love ’20

She is researching the ways non-binary children are impacted by stereotype threat at the Wellesley Centers for Women as a recipient of the Class of 1967 Internship. She also works at the National Institute on Out-of-School Time as a research assistant and remotely as a translator for the Trans Justice Funding Project. She has been invited to different campuses across the United States as a speaker and advocate of the LGBTQI community. In the summer of 2019, Ninotska worked at Translatinx Network as a Peer Advocate Volunteer in the frontline of improving the lives of transgender and gender non-conforming individuals in New York City. On-campus, she is the residential assistant of Cedar Lodge and is the organizer of the annual event of the Transgender Day of Visibility at Wellesley. Ninotska aims to become a human rights lawyer to improve and to create sustainable opportunities for other members of the LGBTQ community particularly transgender and gender non-conforming.
