She’s especially interested in the philosophy of science and how it impacts our approaches to studying science. Nhia spent this past summer working in the First Year Dean’s Office as the Student Orientation Coordinator (SOC), for the incoming class of new students. As SOC, she was responsible for working with cross campus partners and outside vendors to create events welcoming students who are transitioning to Wellesley. On campus, Nhia is Co-President of AscenDance, a ballet dance group, and Club Rocks, the geoscience student group. She is also a Student Assistant in the Office of Admission, as well as treasurer for Bates House Council. Nhia also has a working knowledge of German. After graduation, she hopes to explore more effective methods for communicating science in order to improve public perception and comprehension.
