Neha Lund ’22

Through the Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowship, she is conducting research on the process of racial identity formation in South Asian American diaspora communities. With her passion for progressive politics, Neha has most recently been interning at Higher Ground Labs, an accelerator for progressive political technology, where she is learning about the important role of startups and technology in the progressive political landscape. On campus, she has studied religion in South Asia through being a research assistant for Professor Neelima Shukla-Bhatt, and interned for Dr. Linda Charmaraman at Wellesley Centers for Women. She is co-political chair for the Wellesley Association for South Asian Cultures (WASAC), and an active member of Wellesley’s political society, the Agora Society. She also speaks Hindko (her family’s mother tongue) and has a working knowledge of Hindi and Spanish. Upon graduation, Neha hopes to explore roles that intersect with her variety of interests in social equity, startups/technology, politics, and strategy. She has the long-term goal of being the first in her family to pursue a Ph.D. in sociology.
