Laryssa Horodysky
Laryssa is a junior majoring in Political Science with a minor in Economics.
In the summer of 2019, Laryssa worked as a campaign fellow on the Lindsey Boylan for Congress campaign in New York City’s 10th district, where she researched public policy legislation and supported the formulation of priority issues such as immigration, women’s rights, and education. Currently, Laryssa is working as a Knapp Fellow for Professor Julie Matthaei in the Economics Department, where she is researching grassroots organizations as well as global social and economic movements, monitoring and recording their impact on local and national economies. At Wellesley, she is a member of the Wellesley Globalist and frequents the Harvard Ukrainian Research Institute (HURI). Upon graduation, Laryssa aspires to be a researcher for a think tank focusing on the socio-economic development of Ukraine.
