She is interested in exploring the realm of international and human rights law. In the summer of 2021, she was the lead intern at the Muslim Public Services Network based in D.C. where she worked closely with various policymakers to facilitate a more cohesive network of Muslim officials and engage Muslim youth nationwide in public policy work. An Adam Smith fellow, Hira completed a research project in which she investigated the efficacy of French secularism within the framework of religious freedom. On campus, she has been involved in Wellesley Mock Trial, Wellesley College Government, and was the president of the Pakistani Student Association. She also works as a residential assistant in Tower Court. Hira can read, write, and speak both Hindi and Urdu. Upon graduation, she hopes to attend law school.
