Her primary focus is organic chemistry, and she spent this past summer researching potential diabetes drugs in the lab of Professor David Haines at Wellesley. Emma is also the Vice President and Business Manager of the Wellesley College Choir, and is a Chemistry Department tutor at Wellesley. After Wellesley, she hopes to attend graduate school to obtain a PhD in organic chemistry, and would like to do research into designing new and better drugs for global diseases.
