She is currently a teaching assistant at Wellesley’s political science department, and she is an undergraduate researcher at MIT Sloan Management School on Chinese history and political system. Ella is the co-president for the Vanguard Better Relations Youth Exchange Initiative, a cross-campus and cross-national China focused student conference. In the summer of 2022, Ella worked as an intern with the Innovative Green Development Program, where she managed the data base for working reports on global sustainability policies. On campus, she serves on the Pan Asian Council Executive Board. She is a native Mandarin speaker and is fluent in Shanghainese. Ella’s goal is to work in international organization and further her interest in East Asia studies, global governance and cultural exchange.
