Eliza Lynch
Eliza Lynch is a junior double majoring in Environmental Studies and Peace and Justice Studies with a concentration in public health and its intersections with gender, social justice, and the environment.

She is currently researching the impact of toxic metals on urban agriculture, food sovereignty, and community health. In the summer of 2024, Eliza worked in an Environmental Engineering Lab at UCLA where she conducted research on the distribution of toxic metals throughout Los Angeles County, and developed and taught an environmental science, justice, and research curriculum to high school students. On campus, Eliza is the co-president of EnAct, the environmental action organization, and a residential assistant in Pomeroy Hall. She is also a United Nations Association-United States Global Goals Ambassador for Sustainable Development Goal 15, Life on Land. Eliza’s goal this upcoming summer is to strengthen her environmental research and community outreach skills through an internship with an environmental health organization, preferably in New Zealand.
