She is particularly interested in food systems as well as environmental degradation in developing countries. Last summer Charlotte interned with Crittenton Women’s Union, a non-profit that advocates for low-income women, where she researched and co-authored a report on the effects of consumer debt on low-income women in Boston. At Wellesley, Charlotte is a member of the varsity crew team and has served as a research assistant in the Geoscience Department. Next semester, Charlotte will be studying abroad in the Peruvian Amazon. This summer she hopes to utilize her Spanish skills while working with a non-profit organization focused on environmental conservation in Latin America.
