She is currently studying abroad at the Institute of Political Studies of Aix-en-Provence in France for the Fall 2024 semester. She is a native Spanish speaker and is proficient in both Catalan and French. On campus, Carme is the president of the Book Club and is heavily involved in the Shakespeare Society, having served as their Inclusion Chair last year. She is also a Residential Assistant in Shafer Hall. Carme’s goal after graduation is to attend graduate school and study international law or journalism, with the hopes of using her studies to work for an international organization advocating for human rights with an emphasis in immigration policy.
