She is currently writing her thesis on a theory of liberal justice put forward by John Tomasi, which seeks to integrate a requirement for private economic liberties with a commitment to social justice. For the past two summers Bridgette has worked one-on-one with members of the indigent population, first in Boston, MA and then in Stamford, CT, to help low-income individuals achieve economic stability by finding jobs, housing and access to quality education. On campus, Bridgette stays involved with the Wellesley community by working at the Davis Museum and Cultural Center and playing jazz guitar in the Wellesley Blue Jazz Combo. Following graduation Bridgette hopes to work at an international organization that provides humanitarian aid and legal counsel.
