Last summer, she worked as a Congressional Intern for Representative Chrissy Houlahan where she assisted constituents with federal casework around healthcare, taxes, and immigration. This job built upon her previous experience working to connect marginalized women with prenatal healthcare through a non-profit in her hometown of Malvern, Pennsylvania. On campus Bella helps to organize campus wide activities as a part of the Schneider Board of Governors. She is also working to strengthen the community of Wellesley College political science students through her efforts on the Political Science Majors Council. She has a working fluency in Spanish, and is pursuing heightened data literacy skills through her Computer Science and Research Methods courses. Upon graduating, Bella would love to join an international organization focusing upon education policy for women and girls.
