She spent this past summer interning for Annie’s List, an organization that recruits, trains, and supports progressive women running for office in Texas and worked the previous year as the Deputy Field Director for a School Board Campaign in Dallas, Texas. Alexandra spent the spring semester of their sophomore year studying the Arabic language as well as refugee and immigration policy in Amman, Jordan. On campus, Alexandra is an Executive Senator in College Government, a member of the Schneider Board of Governors, and works in the Office of Admissions as a Student Admissions Assistant. In the future, she plans to return to her home state of Texas to work on furthering progressive policies, particularly focusing on reproductive justice and immigration policy.
