Alex had the opportunity to intern and work for NBC Olympics during the 2012 London Olympics and 2014 Sochi Olympics and Paralympics as a video production assistant. In 2012-2013, Alex took a gap year away from Wellesley in order to serve with AmeriCorps NCCC, a national service organization. Because her team was dedicated to disaster response and recovery, much of year was spent in New York following Hurricane Sandy. At Wellesley, Alex is a member of the field hockey team. Following her graduation in May 2015, she hopes to pursue a career in video production and sports broadcasting.
