Alejandra Robayo Garzon
Alejandra is a senior majoring in Political Science and Latin American Studies.

Last summer, she was a policy and research intern at the University of Maryland SAFE Center for Human Trafficking Survivors, where she researched trends in human trafficking in Latin American communities and conducted an independent research project examining the role of labor trafficking in the Maryland Prison system. On campus, Alejandra is a student worker for the Political Science Department and the president of Wellesley for Global Affairs. She is also a native Spanish speaker. Upon graduation, Alejandra aims to use her knowledge of human trafficking and global governance to help non-profit organizations tackle human rights issues, preferably in Latin America.
