Currently, she is working on a thesis in Chemistry in the Stanley lab analyzing research vessel data on gas exchange in the ocean. She spent the summer of 2024 working at the Walsh lab at Umass Amherst conducting material science research on high pressure inorganic synthesis. She interned for the Science Advocacy Institute Resident Collective in Boston, where she worked on using board games to teach science lessons that increase engagement on topics in biological anthropology. In fall of 2023, Adriana studied abroad in Santiago, Chile and she speaks Spanish as a heritage speaker. On campus, Adriana serves on the executive board of Fusion (Wellesley's organization for mixed and multicultural students) and works as a Study Abroad Ambassador for the Office of International Study. In the future, she hopes to attend a PhD program in Chemistry and eventually work in science policy as a career.
