Pinar Keskin is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Wellesley College.
She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Yale University (2009) and a B.A. in Economics from Bilkent University, Turkey (2003). Pinar joined Wellesley College after serving as a post-doctoral Fellow in the Sustainability Science Program at Harvard’s Center for International Development. Her research interests fall in the fields of Development and Environmental Economics. Pinar's work primarily focuses on two areas: (1) the economic responses to water scarcity and water pollution in developed and developing countries; (2) the causes and consequences of domestic violence and its transmission across generations.
