As a senior program associate on the health team at Results for Development, Ms. Akin-Olugbade contributes to health financing and health systems strengthening efforts in low-and-middle income countries, particularly in francophone countries in Africa.
In the past, Ms. Akin-Olugbade contributed to the final evaluation of a maternal and child health program implemented by World Vision in rural Tanzania, co-authored a report on effective community health worker programs for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and helped review the Harmonization for Health in Africa initiative for the WHO Regional Office for Africa.
Before joining R4D, Ms. Akin-Olugbade worked with Population Services International in their research and evidence-based decision-making team for West and Central Africa as a Princeton in Africa fellow.
Ms. Akin-Olugbade holds a master of science in public health from Johns Hopkins University and a BA from Wellesley College. She speaks fluent English and French.
