Jaya is a health systems strengthening specialist, with extensive experience conducting mixed methods research in North India.
She previously managed nutrition interventions and led monitoring and evaluation efforts for the health division at Seva Mandir, a non-governmental organization in Udaipur, India. She also worked at the Institute for Global Health and Development at Brandeis University. She received her BA in International Relations-Political Science with a minor in Women and Gender Studies from Wellesley College. Jaya Gupta received her PhD in International Health and MPH at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
