Museums and the Travel Ban

Tuesday, May 16, 2017 - 6:00pm
Davis Museum

In February, the Davis Museum at Wellesley College responded to the President's first travel ban with Art-Less. Approximately 120 objects created by or donated by immigrants to the United States were draped or removed.

Join the Exhibits PAG at the Davis for a panel discussion inspired by Art-Less. Panelists Roya Amigh, Somé Louis, Anni Pullagura, and Claire Whitner will discuss the Davis's initiative and consider museums' roles and responsibilities in politics. There will be time for networking following the meeting, where we can continue the conversation over drinks.

6 - 8:30 pm
