A lifelong friend and ’59 classmate of Secretary Albright, Wini Freund was instrumental in the establishment of the Albright Institute for Global Affairs at Wellesley College. She stewarded the creation of the Ambassadors Council and has served as Chair of the Ambassadors Council since its inception. Wini received an MAT from Harvard. After briefly teaching and working in the corporate world, she became a consultant on family and work issues to corporations and non-profit organizations. She has been a leader in community-based non-profit organizations in New York and served as the Board President of the Women's Fund of Long Island.
