Sang-Hee Min is a global health professional, combining technical training in neuroscience and epidemiology with diverse experiences in health communications and advocacy. She currently serves as Senior Program Officer, Global Development at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, focused on eradicating polio in the remaining endemic countries of Afghanistan and Pakistan. She has worked extensively with multilateral institutions, as well as public and private sector partners across the United States, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, South Asia, and Africa to raise awareness and resources through data-based storytelling and targeted advocacy strategies for health issues affecting underserved communities around the world, including polio, family planning, neglected tropical diseases, mental health and cancer.
Sang-Hee holds a BA in Neuroscience with a minor in Music from Wellesley College and an MPH in Epidemiology with a Certificate in Global Health from Columbia University. She is a Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Scholar.
