Pamela Melroy
Colonel Pam Melroy (USAF, retired) is a former test pilot and NASA astronaut, and one of two women to command the Space Shuttle.

Her post-NASA career includes executive positions with Lockheed Martin, the Federal Aviation Administration, and DARPA. She is an advisor to the National Space Council and vice-chair of the National Academies of Science, Engineering and Medicine Aerospace Engineering Board.
