Dagmawit Assefa was a class of 2020 graduate from Wellesley College, a Mastercard Scholar and an Albright Fellow.
She graduated with a B.A. in Computer Science and Physics from Wellesley. Post-graduation, she is currently working as a Software Engineer at Peloton Interactive Incorporated.
Dagmawit is a passionate advocate for high-quality, accessible STEM education in developing countries, with a particular focus on women and young girls. Her drive stems from a commitment to international development and the belief in education as a transformative force for positive change.
