Chemistry
We are an inclusive and collaborative community focused on exploring our love of molecules and their central role in our world. Our teaching employs a range of pedagogical approaches aimed at engaging and challenging students in an active manner. Undergraduate students in the department also collaborate with faculty on research considering a wide range of chemical systems, such as designing and testing novel therapeutics, developing new approaches for computational modeling, analyzing environmental trends and understanding astrochemical reactions.
