Mrs Konstantynova has almost ten years of professional experience in international relations, including international maritime law, consulting and negotiations, national security and diplomacy. Gained a professional experience at private and governmental institutions, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine, and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (Parliament). Former Foreign Policy Advisor to the Chairman of the Parliament of Ukraine in 2019-2021.
Having been an Associate Fellow of the NGO "Ukrainian Association of Middle East Studies - AMES", and later as a Head of Analytical Department at the Professional Development Training Center of the Udovenko Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Vira continued to devote her professional efforts to analytical support of Ukraine’s foreign policy agenda.
She is an alumna of the 2021 British Council Future Leaders Connect program, 2022 LEADx Change program, and a fellow of the 2023 Policy Designers Network of the German Marshall Fund. Vira also successfully concluded UNITAR Women's Leadership for Peace program (2023). Graduated from Odesa I.I. Mechnikov National University with MA in International Relations (2013), she conducts her PhD research at the National Institute for Strategic Studies (Kyiv, Ukraine). Currently, Ms Konstantynova is an independent international security analyst, taking the Executive Education program at the European Academy of Diplomacy (Warsaw, Poland).
