Nerissa's interest in international relations first stemmed from her exposure to languages—Cantonese, Mandarin, Spanish, and Italian. On campus, Nerissa is the co-president of the club archery team and Wellesley's oldest acapella group, the Wellesley Widows. She is also a student worker at the Archives with a passion for learning about Wellesley's people and past. At the moment, she is working with the materials science laboratory at MIT to model the environmental impact of industrial companies by creating lifecycle assessments of their products. In the future, Nerissa hopes to start her own sustainable business that focuses on improving supply chain and industrial inefficiencies.
