Ruth Chang is a Trustee Emerita of Wellesley College, having served as chair of finance and audit committees and as Vice Chair during her final year on the Board in 2020-21. Ruth majored in physics and astronomy at Wellesley and earned an MBA at the MIT Sloan School of Management.
Ruth spent her career in corporate finance at Procter & Gamble, Ford Motor Company and retired in 2018 as senior director of medical device pricing with Johnson & Johnson. During her corporate career, Ruth was known as a champion of talent, leading teams to recruit, develop, mentor and promote talent, especially women and minorities. She presently focuses her time in the not-for-profit arena, serving organizations in a variety of capacities including as board member, volunteer, facilitator and mentor.
