Samaa Ahmed is a user experience designer and strategist.
Samaa works with emerging technologies to come up with innovative solutions to policy challenges. Samaa has worked across public and private sector organizations, including with the Government of Ontario and at the Wilson Center in Washington, DC. She is currently a Design Thinking Strategist at General Motors Canada. Samaa is the recipient of a Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC Canada) award, a member of Psi Chi Honors Society, and an Albright Fellow (Class of 2012). Samaa holds a Masters of Design from OCAD University, and a Bachelor of Arts from Wellesley College.
