Angela Bahns, Associate Professor of Psychology at Wellesley College, is a social psychologist doing research on prejudice, diversity beliefs, and friendship formation.
Professor Bahns's research examines the factors that promote diverse friendships and the ways that stereotypes and threat are used to justify prejudice. Professor Bahns holds a Ph.D. from the University of Kansas and a B.A. from Pomona College. She teaches classes in social psychology including a seminar on prejudice.
