Her coursework has developed her interest in the influence of arts and culture in Russian history and politics. Elizabeth spent the summer of 2022 working as a counselor at the Interlochen Center for the Arts in Michigan, where she helped young artists foster their passions for music, performance, and the visual arts. On campus, she is a resident assistant in Shafer Hall and shares her own love of performing as co-president of Dead Serious, Wellesley's only improv-comedy troupe. Elizabeth's academic interests are driven by her study of Russian, and her primary goal in the future is to progress from a working knowledge of the language to a greater level of proficiency. After graduation, she is interested in pursuing an advanced degree in Russian and working in translation or interpretation.
