Where is Health Services?

Health Services is located at Wellesley College Club Building 1st Floor at 727 Washington Street Wellesley, MA 02481.

 

Directions from East Entrance on Route 16 (Closest to the College Club) : 

  • Turn onto Wellesley College Road from Route 16 on Washington Street
  • Wellesley College Club is on the left before Dower Parking Lot 

 

Directions from West Entrance on Route 135 (Closest to the Campus Police) : 

  • Turn onto Wellesley College Road from Route 135 on Central Street
  • Continue down Wellesley College Road for approximately half a mile
  • Past Admission Office Building
  • Wellesley College Club is on the left before exiting Washington Street

Health Services FAQ

When is Health Services Open?

Health Services is open from 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM on Monday and Tuesday during the school year. We are open from 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Wednesday through Friday (excluding holidays which vary).

 

During the summer, Health Services is open Monday- Friday from 8:30AM- 5:00 PM. Our office is open during seasonal breaks as well! 

What if I need help when Health Services is closed?

Call our office at 781.283.2810 where you can connect with an on-call provider who can answer your medical questions. Please note this service is not for medical emergencies or routine matters including but not limited to medication refills, scheduling appointments, and forms.

Our on-call service is available 24/7 when Health Services is not open. When you contact our on-call service, you will first speak with an answering service to provide basic information and the reason for your call. Upon sending your message, a provider will contact you within 20 - 30 minutes and provide medical advice. Please note that our on-call providers can see your medical records in order to easily communicate information with Health Services and allow us to follow up if necessary.

 

*** For any medical emergencies that cannot wait for a call back from our on-call provider, please contact the Campus Police at 781.283.5555 or 911 immediately.

There are multiple ways to book an appointment at Health Services such as :

  • Sending our office a message through Patient Gateway.

What can I book an appointment for at Health Services?

TLDR : Nearly everything! Think of us as a surrogate in place of your usual Primary Care doctor.

  • Acute/Urgent Visits
  • Physicals
  • Travel Visits
  • Chronic Issue Management
  • Immunizations
  • Lab Work
  • Minor Procedures including Piercing Removal, Ear Wax Removal, Etc.

 

*** If you are unsure whether your medical issue requires an appointment, our office has a triage nurse who is typically available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays to provide medical advice.
